WinemakerKaylin Willscott

Kaylin Willscott’s story is integral to the heart of the brand. As Cape Wine Guild protégée of the year and one of the few women winemakers in South Africa, her journey is a powerful narrative of talent, determination, and community upliftment. Kaylin’s family hails from Sir Lowry’s Pass village. Her roots in the village and her deep connection to winemaking are a testament to the transformative power of opportunity, education, and hard work.

Kaylin has honed her skills under the mentorship of some of South Africa’s most renowned winemakers, bringing a unique vision to her craft. Her intimate knowledge of the land, her passion for preserving the local terroir, and her innovative approach to blending have been instrumental in elevating the various ranges she has created. Her expertise ensures that each bottle not only reflects the finest winemaking practices but also tells a story of empowerment and local pride.

For Kaylin and her team, the Inzuzo Wine Co. is more than just a wine label. It embodies the story of a community, it’s people and the power of opportunity. In each bottle, the Inzuzo Wine Company create a wine that is rich in both taste and purpose.

Each day, I’m very grateful that my role in winemaking is now intercepted with a role in outreach. Kaylin Willscott, Winemaker
